  • Michael Zekulin – Department of Political Science, University of Calgary
  • Imam Navaid Aziz – Calgary Islamic Information Society
  • Cam Steward – Alberta Human Rights Commission

Michael Zekulin (Dept. of Political Science at the University of Calgary) will explain what radicalization means, how the process works and many other research findings in the academia about radicalization.

Imam Navaid will look at the topic from Islamic prospective. He will lay out the facts and fictions about Islamic Radicals.

Last, but not least Cam Steward will examine some of the factors of radicalization. The relationship between, lack of human rights, discrimination, marginalization, unsuccessful integration, criminal tendency and radicalization.
