Identifying Calgary – Our Unique Personality and Presence

What makes Calgary unique? Does Calgary have a personality like New York city or Portland? Is it important that Calgary should have one? Community can be considered as a group of people who are connected in ways that extend beyond family ties, and who mutually define that relationship as important to their social identity and practice. What is it that defines this relationship which affects the identity of Calgarians and their degree of cohesiveness? Our panel discussion will examine these questions and discuss how our local culture impacts our community environments and work-play lifestyle.

Please join CoreNet Global Canadian Chapter and our distinguished panel, which features International Avenue BRZ Executive Director Alison Karim-McSwiney, as we explore this relevant subject.
