Mural unveiled!
On October 18, 2011 The mural society unveiled to the public the sixth installment to the International Avenue Mural Series. This mural was painted by artist, Iman Omar and is dedicated to the Arabic Community in Calgary. Special thanks to the Alberta Community Initiatives Program for help with this project. New Mavericks
In October of 2010, the Calgary Herald chose 30 Calgarians as New Mavericks. Our Executive Director, Alison Karim-McSwiney was one of them.
