International Ave Arts and Cultural Centre

The BRZ is a partner of  the International Avenue Arts and Culture Centre (a charitable organization). The proposed plan is to develop a unique, state of the art, 1000 seat theatre & facility along International Ave. It will include gallery space, necessary rehearsal and production space, meeting and educational space, and archival library for residents of the area.  on June 21, 2011 IAACC was given the land in principle at 26 Street and 17 Avenue SE by the Land Use, Planning and Transportation Committee, City of Calgary .  City Council ratified the land deal on July 5, 2011.  This allows us to begin our major fundraising campaign.

The second official year long el-systemma  based program of the Calgary Multicultural Youth Orchestra program is up and running!!!  Over 40 children are enrolled in the program teaching them string instruments. For more information please call 403-235-4414 or …go to Website
